Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company or MassMutual, along with its subsidiaries including OppenheimerFunds, manages a significant number of mutual funds across different categories including both equity and fixed-income funds. MassMutual uses a multi-manger approach to offer services including life policies, money management and retirement planning to its clients throughout the globe. The company was founded in 1851 and is considered one of the leading asset managers by virtue of managing around $771 billion of assets along with its affiliates.

MassMutual Select Diversified Value Fund Class I (MDDIX - Free Report) aims for long-term appreciation of capital and income by mostly investing in a diversified portfolio of equity securities of large companies. The fund invests the majority of its assets in stocks, securities convertible to stocks and other securities such as stock rights and warrants, the value of which are based on stock prices. The fund mostly invests in securities of American companies. MDDIX has three and five-year annualized returns of 11.5% and 7.9%, respectively.

MDDIX has an expense ratio of 0.57% compared with the category average of 1.00%.

MassMutual Select Fundamental Growth Fund Class I (MOTZX - Free Report) seeks long-term capital growth. The fund mostly invests in domestic equity securities that the fund’s sub-adviser thinks has the potential to offer long-term growth. These equity securities may comprise preferred stocks, common stocks, rights and warrants etc. MOTZX has three and five-year annualized returns of 15.9% and 12.8%, respectively.

As of December 2018, MOTZX held 68 issues, with 8.49% of its assets invested in Microsoft Corp.

MM MSCI EAFE International Index Fund Class R3 invests the majority of its net assets in equity securities of companies that are included in the MSCI EAFE Index. The fund aims to offer investment results, approximating aggregate price and dividend performance of the constituent securities. The fees and expenses are applicable after returns have been generated. MKRTX has three and five-year annualized returns of 6.6% and 1.6%, respectively.

MassMutual Select Small Cap Growth Equity Fund Class R5 (MSGSX - Free Report) aims for long-term capital appreciation. The fund invests the majority of its assets in equity securities of companies whose market capitalization, at the time of buying the securities, are within the range of market capitalizations for the companies included in Russell 2000® Index or S&P SmallCap 600 Index. The fund may also invest a lesser part of its assets in non-U.S. securities. MSGSX has three and five-year annualized returns of 17.7% and 9.3%, respectively.

MSGSX has an expense ratio of 0.96% compared to a category average of 1.20%.
