Columbia Funds Series Trust Columbia Convertible Securities (NCIAX - Free Report) seeks strong returns along with growth of capital. NCIAX invests the majority of its assets in convertible securities. The fund may invest almost 15% of its assets in Eurodollar convertible securities and an additional one-fifth of its assets in non-U.S. securities. NCIAX may invest directly in equity securities as well. Columbia Convertible Securities Z has returned 12.1% in the last one year.

As of April 2019, NCIAX held 123 issues with 2.62% of its assets invested in Bank of America Corporation 7 1/4 % Non-Cum Perp Conv Pfd Shs Series -L-.

Columbia Strategic Income A (COSIX - Free Report) fund invests heavily in U.S. government bonds, mortgage-backed securities, investment-grade corporate bonds, inflation-protected securities, convertible securities as well as high yield instruments.
