Lawson Products (LAWS) Beats Q2 Earnings Estimates and Revenue Estimates

Lawson Products came out with quarterly earnings of $0.62 per share, beating the Zacks Consensus Estimate of $0.49 per share. This compares to earnings of $0.35 per share a year ago. These figures are adjusted for non-recurring items.

This quarterly report represents an earnings surprise of 26.53%. A quarter ago, it was expected that this industrial products and tools maker would post earnings of $0.29 per share when it actually produced earnings of $0.48, delivering a surprise of 65.52%.

Over the last four quarters, the company has surpassed consensus EPS estimates three times.

Lawson Products, which belongs to the Zacks Metal Products - Distribution industry, posted revenues of $96.10 million for the quarter ended June 2019, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate by 0.86%.
