Recently, Duke Realty leased 25,635 square feet at 900 North Greenfield Parkway to Atlantic Tire Distributors, turning North Greenfield Parkway fully occupied. Earlier, it reported third-quarter 2015 core funds from operations (“FFO”) per share of $0.29, which came in line with the Zacks Consensus Estimate and 3.3% below the prior-year tally. Duke Realty’s efforts to enhance its portfolio mix through divestitures have near-term dilutive effects. Further, stiff competition, operational risks associated with large development pipeline and any rise in interest rate remain concerns. But its efforts to strengthen its bulk industrial business in key markets and shedding its suburban office properties are encouraging, given the improving fundamentals of the industrial market.
