Internet infrastructure assurance and domain registry services provider VeriSign reported strong third-quarter 2015 results with both earnings and revenues growing year over year.  The company also increased its guidance for 2015 despite the fourth quarter being a soft one as seen historically.  The renewal of the .com contract and price hikes for the .com and .net domain names remain primary growth drivers for the company. The company is planning to increase its .net fees in 2016, which is likely to be accretive to its profits. Also, an expected increase in the domain name base will remain a key driver of its growth. However, the company can be affected because of search engine adjustments on domain monetization, rising expenses and increasing competition.
