United Parcel Service, or UPS, delivered mixed numbers in the fourth quarter of 2015.  Earnings per share outpaced the Zacks Consensus Estimate, while revenues missed the same. However revenues improved 1% from the year-ago quarter to $16.1 billion. Foreign currency movements and lower fuel surcharges negatively impacted sales in the quarter. The company expects 2016 adjusted earnings per share in the band of $5.70 to $5.90. The projection reflects 5% to 9% growth over the comparable 2015 figure. We expect the company to achieve the guidance driven by its strong product portfolio. However, threat from competitors and labor unionization remain as some of the major challenges confronting the company. We expect the company's first quarter results (slated for Apr 28) to suffer due to foreign exchange issues.
