Putnam Small Cap Growth Fund Class Y (PSYGX - Free Report) aims for capital growth. The fund primarily invests in common stocks of small American companies, which focus primarily on growth stocks. It invests the majority of its net assets in securities of companies that have a size similar to those included on the Russell 2000 Growth Index. PSYGX has three-year annualized returns of 18.1%.

Putnam Income Fund Class A (PINCX - Free Report) seeks high current income consistent with prudent risk. The fund invests the majority of its assets in bonds and other obligations of companies and governments globally, denominated in U.S. dollars, are either investment-grade or below investment-grade and have intermediate- to long-term maturities.
