DCT Industrial Starts Construction of Arbor Avenue in Tracy

DCT Industrial Trust Inc. , the Denver, CO-based industrial real estate investment trust (“REIT”) announced the groundbreaking of DCT Arbor Avenue. This 796,000 square foot development with its locational advantage is likely to be accretive for the company, going forward.

Arbor Avenue, situated in the City of Tracy in San Joaquin County, in the Central Valley of Northern California, can be easily accessed from U.S. Interstate 205 and MacArthur Drive. Spread over an area of 39.6 acres, Arbor Avenue includes a cross-dock distribution building with clear height of at least 32 foot and a 195 foot secured truck courts. Slated to be completed in third-quarter 2017, it also includes more than 650 spots for auto parking and 118 positions for trailer parking.

DCT Industrial Trust is engaged in owning, operating and developing high quality bulk distribution and light industrial properties in high volume distribution markets in the U.S. and Mexico.

 

Currently, DCT Industrial Trust has a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy). Over the past 30 days, the company’s second-quarter funds from operations (“FFO”) per share estimates have remained stable.
