This Week's Best Bank Earnings Charts

PNC

Earnings season is officially starting and that means the banks are on tap.

But the best charts aren’t who you think. Forget about the big international banks like Citigroup. Think smaller and more regionally.

One of the best charts of the week is Arkansas-based Bank of the Ozarks . It hasn’t missed on earnings in 5 years. That’s impressive.

Despite what traders think, it’s not easy to beat the estimate every quarter for that length of time. Shares are off their highs though.

First Republic actually reports next week but the chart is pretty with shares near their 5-year highs.

PNC Financial (PNC - Free Report) has only missed twice in 5 years but shares have stalled out the last 2 years due to worries about the Fed and interest rates.

What else should investors take away from these charts? Watch the short video to find out.

Zacks Names "Single Best Pick to Double"

From thousands of stocks, 5 Zacks experts each have chosen their favorite to skyrocket +100% or more in months to come. From those 5, Director of Research Sheraz Mian hand-picks one to have the most explosive upside of all.

It’s a little-known chemical company that’s up 65% over last year, yet still dirt cheap. With unrelenting demand, soaring 2022 earnings estimates, and $1.5 billion for repurchasing shares, retail investors could jump in at any time.

This company could rival or surpass other recent Zacks’ Stocks Set to Double like Boston Beer Company which shot up +143.0% in little more than 9 months and NVIDIA which boomed +175.9% in one year.
