Ahead of the opening bell today, plenty of Q4 earnings results to report:

Johnson & Johnson (JNJ - Free Report) , a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold) stock, reported an earnings beat of 2 cents while revenues missed the Zacks consensus estimate.

Verizon (VZ - Free Report) also reported, but the quarter was not good. The Zacks Rank #3 stock reported 89 cents per share on 432.16 billion in revenues for the quarter.

Also, DuPont (DD - Free Report) reported a mixed quarter, who,e 3M (MMM) put out better-than-expected Q4 earnings on in-line quarterly revenues.

After the bell today, we expect results from Texas Instruments (TXN - Free Report) , Alcoa (AA - Free Report) and Logitech International (LOGI - Free Report) .
