Enbridge Energy (EEP) Q3 Earnings Miss, Revenues Fall Y/Y

COP BAK SXC

Enbridge Energy Partners L.P. reported third-quarter 2017 adjusted earnings of 24 cents per unit, which missed the Zacks Consensus Estimate by a penny. The miss was mainly led by lower income from segments.

The bottom line, however, increased from the year-ago level of 9 cents.

Total revenues in the quarter were $616 million, down from the year-ago level of $1,120.6 million.

Segment Performance

Liquids: Adjusted operating income at the Liquids segment declined to $282.1 million from $304 million in the comparable period of 2016. Other: The Natural Gas unit reported operating loss of $1.7 million compared with an operating loss of $2.3 million in the year-ago quarter.

Zacks Names "Single Best Pick to Double"

From thousands of stocks, 5 Zacks experts each have chosen their favorite to skyrocket +100% or more in months to come. From those 5, Director of Research Sheraz Mian hand-picks one to have the most explosive upside of all.

It’s a little-known chemical company that’s up 65% over last year, yet still dirt cheap. With unrelenting demand, soaring 2022 earnings estimates, and $1.5 billion for repurchasing shares, retail investors could jump in at any time.

This company could rival or surpass other recent Zacks’ Stocks Set to Double like Boston Beer Company which shot up +143.0% in little more than 9 months and NVIDIA which boomed +175.9% in one year.
