To read more about the Performance Warranty, please see the details below. But please don't let the legal jargon blind you. We simply want to ensure that you gave our service a fair try and that you can supply documentation to back up the claim. Here are the specifics:
Research Wizard clients may receive a 100% refund of the subscription fees paid during his/her current subscription term if the client's portfolio following the approved backtested strategies (Zacks generated or user defined) under performs against the S&P 500 during the holding period of the stocks. All of the following criteria must be met to qualify for the refund.
If the client chooses to trade a Zacks created strategy, he or she will submit by e-mail to the Research Wizard Performance Warranty Department (rwwarranty@zacks.com) or their Research Wizard representative, which strategy or strategies they will trade. Once a reply e-mail with approval is received, the Performance Warranty will commence.
If the client wishes to trade his or her own user defined strategy, he or she must submit the strategy (strategy file) to the Research Wizard Performance Warranty Department or their representative, along with how they plan to rebalance the portfolio, i.e., 1 week, 2 weeks, 4 weeks, etc. Zacks will test the strategy to determine its level of success. Zacks reserves the right to not approve a strategy that tests poorly or that is deemed to be untradeable. Once the client receives approval from Zacks via e-mail that his or her strategy has been approved, the Performance Warranty will commence.
The subscriber must have bought and sold a minimum of 20 stock recommendations from the approved strategy. (These trades all must come from the same strategy. For example, 5 trades from strategy A and 15 trades from strategy B does not meet the 20 trade qualification. They all must be from the same strategy.)
Trades must be executed within a 24 hour period of the approved strategies rebalancing period.
The client must save a copy of the strategies recommendations (print out or electronic file).
The client must be a subscriber for at least 3 months.
The client must show full brokerage account details for the period in question.
Performance will be based on all stocks traded (i.e., purchased and sold) in such period that were approved recommendation at the time. And a refund will be given only if the aggregate performance (i.e., realized losses or gains) of such stocks as measured by the relative rise and fall in market price is less than the performance of the S&P 500 during the time period that these stocks were held in the customer's account.
After 3 years the opportunity to get a refund will expire. If you meet the preceding criteria, then please send your claim with full documentation to:
