Per the latest release by the U.S. Census Bureau, construction spending during February 2021 was estimated at a seasonally-adjusted annual rate of $1,516.9 billion, up 5.3% from the February 2020 estimate. During the first two months of this year, construction spending increased 4.9% from the same period in 2020.
