It is based on the NASDAQ OMX Global Gold & Precious Metals Index. It invests at least 90% of its assets in securities comprising the Index, ADRs & GDRs & measure the overall performance of globally traded securities of the largest & most liquid companies involved in gold & other precious metals mining. The Index is rebalanced quarterly using a modified, market-cap-weighted methodology.
