Fund Description
|
The fund was incepted in July 1991 and is managed by Cohen & Steers Capital Management. The fund seeks maximum total return through both current income and capital appreciation by investing in real estate securities, primarily real estate investment trusts, which are commonly referred to as REITs. The fund invests at least 80%, and normally all, of its assets in common stocks and other equity securities issued by real estate companies, such as real estate investment trusts (REITs). Dividends are distributed quarterly. Capital gains, if any, are distributed annually.
