Fund Description
|
The fund was incepted in June 1994 and is managed by Guinness Atkinson Asset Management, LLC. The fund seeks long-term capital appreciation primarily through investments in securities of China and Hong Kong. The fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in equity securities of companies that are primarily traded on the China or Hong Kong exchanges or equity securities of companies that derive at least 50% of their revenues from business activities in China and/or Hong Kong, but which are listed and traded elsewhere. Dividends and capital gains are distributed annually.
