Fund Description
|
The fund was incepted in September 2002 and is managed by Deutsche Asset Management, Inc. The fund's investment objective is long-term capital appreciation and current income. The fund invests primarily in real estate securities. Under normal circumstances, the fund intends to keep at least 80% of its net assets invested in equity securities of real estate investment trusts ('REITs') and real estate companies. Equity securities include common stock, preferred stock and securities convertible into common stock. The fund offers dividends quarterly and capital gains annually.
