Vale (NASDAQ:VALE) ranks first with a gain of 3.43%; Mechel (NYSE:MTL) ranks second with a gain of 3.42%; and Steel Dynamics (NASDAQ:STLD) ranks third with a gain of 2.45%.
Gerdau (NYSE:GGB) follows with a gain of 2.40% and ArcelorMittal (NYSE:MT) rounds out the top five with a gain of 2.37%.Vale SA produces and sells iron ore, pellets, manganese, alloys, gold, nickel, copper, kaolin, bauxite, alumina, aluminum, and potash. The Company is based in Brazil, where it owns and operates railroads and maritime terminals.
