Steel Dynamics (NASDAQ:STLD) ranks first with a loss of 1.70%; Nucor (NYSE:NUE) ranks second with a loss of 0.32%; and U.S. Steel (NYSE:X) ranks third with a loss of 0.27%.
Carpenter Technology (NYSE:CRS) follows with a loss of 0.19% and ArcelorMittal (NYSE:MT) rounds out the bottom five with a loss of 0.13%.Steel Dynamics, Inc. owns and operates a flat-rolled steel mini-mill, as well as a cold mill. The Company is also constructing a plant for the manufacture of direct reduced iron. Steel Dynamics's customers include intermediate steel processors, steel service centers, and end users such as manufacturers of cold-rolled strip.
