The First Trust Senior Loan Fund is an actively managed exchange-traded fund that seeks to capitalize on the relatively attractive yield within the senior loan market while seeking to mitigate interest rate risk. The fund seeks to provide high current income by investing primarily in a diversified portfolio of first lien senior floating rate bank loans.
