This index looks to provide the returns that are available through an investment in the futures contracts of components in the S&P GSCI Total Return Index. Top components currently are crude oil and Brent oil, although 8 other commodities are in the benchmark.The product also includes the rate of interest from collateral invested in Treasury Bills.
GSP is linked to the S&P GSCI Total Return Index and provides you with exposure to the returns potentially available through an unleveraged investment in the contracts comprising the S&P GSCI plus the Treasury Bill rate of interest that could be earned on funds committed to the trading of the underlying contracts.
