The Cleantech Index is an equally weighted index currently comprised of 75 publicly-traded companies engaged in the cleantech industry. A company is considered to be a cleantech company if it produces any knowledge-based product or service that improves operation, performance, productivity or efficiency, while reducing costs, inputs, energy consumption, waste or pollution.

It is based on the Cleantech Index. It invests at least 90% of its assets in securities comprising the Index & ADRs. The Index tracks the leading cleantech cos, from a broad range of industry sectors that offer the best investment returns. The Cleantech Index is a modified equally weighted index currently comprised of stocks of publicly traded cleantech companies & ADRs based on such stocks.
