The FTSE Developed ex-US Index is comprised of large and mid capitalization companies in developed countries outside the United States. The index defines the large and mid capitalization universe as approximately the top 90% of the eligible universe. As of June 30, 2009, the index was composed of 1,325 stocks in 23 developed market countries.
The Schwab International Equity ETF provides broad exposure to international large and mid-cap stocks in over 20 developed international markets. It seeks investment results that track the performance, before fees and expenses, of the FTSE Developed ex-US Index.
