Fund Description
|
The fund was incepted in June 1997 and is managed by UBS Global Asset Management (Americas) Inc. The fund seeks to maximize total return, consisting of capital appreciation and current income. Under normal circumstances, the fund invests at least 80% of its net assets in equity securities. Investments in equity securities may include dividend-paying securities, common stock and preferred stock of U.S. and foreign issuers. The fund may invest in companies of any size. The fund may (but is not required to) use forward currency contracts, options, futures and other derivatives as part of its investment strategy or to help manage portfolio risks. The fund distributes dividends and capital gains annually.
