Fund Description
American Performance Intermediate Bond Fund was incepted in September 1990 and is managed by Investment Concepts. The objective of the fund is to seek total return by investing in an actively managed, diversified portfolio of intermediate bonds and other fixed income securities. The fund invests primarily in U.S. Treasury securities, A-rated or higher corporate securities and government guaranteed or AAA-rated mortgage/asset-backed securities. The relative weightings of these three sectors are determined based on three factors: a comparison of corporate and mortgage/asset-backed yields to treasury yields, the expected performance of each sector in light of the manager's overall economic outlook, and the average maturity requirements of the fund-approximately three to ten years for the Intermediate Bond Fund. The fund offers dividends monthly and capital gains, if any, are paid annually.
