Huntsman had the Lowest Relative Performance in the Diversified Chemicals Industry (HUN, OLN, DD, PPG, FMC)

Jan 11, 2013 (Fast Lane via COMTEX) -- Analysis was conducted on the Diversified Chemicals industry to measure relative performance to find stocks that have underperformed. Relative underperformance is a possible bearish sign of underlying fundamental and technical weakness should it continue for an extended period of time. We looked at yesterday's price action of all companies in this peer group and measured their performance against one another. Huntsman (NYSE:HUN) ranks first with a loss of 1.16%; Olin (NYSE:OLN) ranks second with a loss of 0.54%; and EI Du Pont de Nemours (NYSE:DD) ranks third with a loss of 0.52%.

PPG Industries (NYSE:PPG) follows with a gain of 0.26% and FMC (NYSE:FMC) rounds out the bottom five with a gain of 0.42%.Huntsman Corporation manufactures differentiated and commodity chemical products.
