Zynga (ZNGA) Dips More Than Broader Markets: What You Should Know

Zynga closed at $9.43 in the latest trading session, marking a -0.42% move from the prior day. This move lagged the S&P 500's daily loss of 0.34%. Elsewhere, the Dow lost 0.5%, while the tech-heavy Nasdaq lost 0.73%.

Heading into today, shares of the maker of "FarmVille" and other online games had gained 1.5% over the past month, lagging the Consumer Discretionary sector's gain of 5.94% and the S&P 500's gain of 5.71% in that time.

Investors will be hoping for strength from ZNGA as it approaches its next earnings release, which is expected to be August 5, 2020. The company is expected to report EPS of $0.06, up 250% from the prior-year quarter.
