Logitech Collaboration Program Expands with 15 New Partners
Read MoreHide Full Article
Switzerland-based computer peripherals company Logitech International SA (LOGI - Free Report) has added 15 new technology partners, who are established providers in the video collaboration market, to its Logitech Collaboration Program (“LCP”).
LCP, which was initially announced in June last year, offers an exclusive framework for high-quality video collaboration experiences to its members. It leverages a range of services from cloud video services to inventive meeting room tools, and facilitates third-party software and hardware companies to optimize product functionality with Logitech products. LCP members can also profit from joint marketing and sales programs, and new distribution opportunities.
The upgraded program has two tiers: premier partner and integration partner, and includes cloud video-conferencing partner and complementary technology-partner tracks. It enables access to the Logitech Software Reference Kit, which is designed to integrate Windows, Mac OS X and Linux apps with audio and video devices from Logitech anywhere.
Thus, with access to the software, members will be able to create and deliver video services that are easy to use and install across customer environments.
Some of the new integration partners in the cloud video-conferencing track are CounterPath, StarLeaf, Fuze, V-CUBE, FreeConferenceCall.com and VSee. In addition, C2G, which is a leading partner in the complementary technology track, has now been joined by Intel. Further, Clary Icon, InFocus, Iluminari, HD Partners, Media Network Services, mEdge, Pexip and SMART Technologies have joined the complementary technology track.
Skype for Business, Google (Chromebox) and Cisco Compatible (WebEx and Jabber) are some of the strategic alliance partners of the program.
Thus, Logitech and its industry-leading complementary technology partners come together to deliver an extraordinary user experience.
In addition to its LCP program, Logitech maintains its product integration efforts with Cisco, Google and Microsoft. Logitech recently launched ConferenceCam kit with Intel NUC video conferencing system, which is compatible with virtually all PC-based cloud services.
Also, Logitech was recently selected by Microsoft as strategic partner for Project Rigel, which aims to deliver a Skype meeting experience to any room with a display or projector.
Logitech’s Video Collaboration business is on a strong uptrend, and has demonstrated remarkable growth in the recently reported quarter. Aided by strong partnerships, we believe this business will prove to be a robust growth driver for Logitech in the coming quarters.
Logitech currently holds a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold). Some better-ranked stocks in the same space include LG Display Co., Ltd. (LPL - Free Report) , TransAct Technologies Inc. (TACT - Free Report) and Key Tronic Corp. (KTCC - Free Report) . While LG Display sports a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy), TransAct and Key Tronic both hold a Zacks Rank #2 (Buy).
