Carbonite (CARB) Looks Good: Stock Adds 6.4% in Session

Read MoreHide Full Article

Carbonite, Inc. was a big mover last session, as the company saw its shares rise over 6% on the day. The upside was driven by the company’s announcement of better-than-expected earnings and revenues for the third quarter of 2016. This led to solid volume too with far more shares changing hands than in a normal session. This stock, trading in a volatile price range of $14.77 to $17.12 in the past one-month time frame, showed a pick-up at $16.70 on Nov 4, 2016.

The company has seen no estimate revisions over the past 30 days, while the Zacks Consensus Estimate remained unchanged over the same time frame. Friday’s price action is encouraging though, so make sure to keep a close watch on this firm in the near future.

Carbonite currently has a Zacks Rank #3 (Hold).

A better-ranked stock in the same industry is LogMeIn, Inc. , which sports a Zacks Rank #1 (Strong Buy). You can see the complete list of today’s Zacks #1 Rank stocks here.
