Read MoreHide Full Article

Regional wireline telecom operator, Frontier Communications Corp. , is expanding its cloud-based VoIP solution, Frontier AnyWare, in all 50 US states.

The company is focused to serve small to medium sized customers, initially, as this segment is underserved and has growth opportunity.  In fact, they are planning to expand their service to other segments later this year.

Notably, Frontier AnyWare powered by Mitel technology, provides virtual communications in a cloud-based Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telecommunications solution for businesses. It combines IP telephony features, collaboration tools, and unified communications to help business operate effectively in the mobile-dominated business environment.

Frontier AnyWare eliminates the cost of investing in on-premises PBX (private branch exchange) systems. Also, it comes with an affordable, monthly subscription rate that provides access to a flexible, virtual communications service to its customers.

Going forward, the company’s growing fiber network is expected to help deliver the cloud-based service or expand the penetration of Ethernet services.

Moreover, Frontier Communications have a large amount of on-net fiber buildings. This, in turn, allows the company to respond to the higher speed requirements of customers in these buildings.

Besides, the company is also developing solution sets that include a mix of UCaaS (Unified Communications as a Service), internet access and even SD-WAN services.

Meanwhile, with an increase in reliance on cloud-based connectivity solutions for core business functions, Frontier AnyWare is expected to bode well.

With battery prices plummeting and charging stations set to multiply, one company stands out as the #1 stock to buy according to Zacks research.

It's not the one you think.
