BlackRock Allocation Target Shares Series A Portfolio (BATAX - Free Report) aims for a high level of current income that is consistent with capital preservation. In order to pursue its objective, the fund will primarily invest in asset-backed securities, commercial and residential mortgage-backed securities issued or guaranteed by the government of the United States. BATAX has returned 6.5% in the past three years.

As of March 2019, BATAX held 681 issues, with 1.02% of its assets invested in Capital One Multi Asset Execution Trust 2.93%.

BlackRock Advantage Small Cap Growth Fund Investor A Shares (CSGEX - Free Report) seeks capital growth over the long term. Most of the fund’s assets are invested in equity securities of small-cap companies. The fund also invests the majority of its assets in securities or instruments of issuers located in the United States. The fund’s advisor defines these small-cap companies as those with market capitalizations, at the time of the purchase comparable in size to the companies in the Russell 2000 Index.
