The Zacks Industry Rank assigns a rating to each of the 265 X (Expanded) Industries based on their average Zacks Rank.

An industry with a larger percentage of Zacks Rank #1's and #2's will have a better average Zacks Rank than one with a larger percentage of Zacks Rank #4's and #5's.

The industry with the best average Zacks Rank would be considered the top industry (1 out of 265), which would place it in the top 1% of Zacks Ranked Industries. The industry with the worst average Zacks Rank (265 out of 265) would place in the bottom 1%.

It is the leading U.S. producer of sodium bicarbonate, popularly known as baking soda, a natural product that cleans, deodorized, leavens and buffers. The company operates in six countries (Canada, Mexico, U.K., France, Australia and Brazil) and exports to over 90 other countries. Approximately 17% of the company’s net sales came from outside the U.S. in 2019. The company has 12 key brands, including ARM & HAMMER, Trojan, OxiClean, Spinbrush, First Response, Nair, Orajel, Xtra, L’IL CRITTERS and VITAFUSION, Waterpik, FLAWLESS and Batiste. The company’s ARM & HAMMER brand is one of the nation’s most trusted trademarks for a broad range of consumer and specialty products and its products are sold under ARM & HAMMER liquid and powder laundry detergent, ARM & HAMMER cat litter, ARM & HAMMER dental care and ARM & HAMMER baking soda. Markedly, eleven out twelve power brands were acquired by the company and added to its portfolio since 2001.
