About
Brian Hamilton joined Zacks Investment Research in January 2013. With over 15 years of experience in the financial and investment research fields, and 8 years of analytical writing, Brian has taken over the Investment Research Management duties at ZIM.
Prior to joining ZIM, Brian was an AVP with Ilios Partners, where he managed the consumer and automotive sectors. In his first year Mr. Hamilton grew his book of business by over 200%. He was involved in consulting BOD’s for several Fortune 500 companies, such as, Archer Daniels Midland, Del Monte Foods, Ford, Whole Foods, Hormel, Visteon, and Avery Dennison .
From 2000 to 2002, Brian worked on the Merrill Lynch trading floor as the lead trading assistant, where he lead a group of Jr. traders and assistants in booking and matching multimillion dollar trades. Also, he was the liaison for the NY Trading floor, which he matched and fixed all trading issues.
Previous to this, Brian also worked for ING Bank, United Way, and Aeltus Investments.
Mr. Hamilton holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Missouri.
