Actions Speak Louder Than Words

Monday had a parade of 3 Fed Presidents on the speaking circuit. So investors monitored every word with great interest as to what it means for the commencement of the QE taper. The most noteworthy comments came from St. Louis Fed chief, James Bullard:

"Based on labor market data alone, the probability of a reduction in the pace of asset purchases has increased...A small taper might recognize labor market improvement while still providing the Committee the opportunity to carefully monitor inflation during the first half of 2014...Should inflation not return toward target, the Committee could pause tapering at subsequent meetings."

My sense is that these guys are going to be less transparent than the past as not to fully tip off when the taper will start. Gladly more investors are coming to their senses that this future action would be a vote of confidence in the economy, which is good for stocks.

China is Secretly Dumping Their Gold (and Dollars) Fast!

People are quickly abandoning the dollar, the EURO, the Pound, name it. But it's not just paper money. In China they're secretly abandoning their gold.

So no money is sacred now. This is all just the beginning. Click here to continue...
