Russell 2000 Small-Cap Index: Upside Breakout, More Gains To Come
The markets ended narrowly mixed on Friday, but the Russell 2000 Small-Cap Index, once again, finished higher on the day and gained 1.23% for the week.
The small-cap index has been the star as of late, breaking out to brand new all-time highs last week. And as impressive as this move has been so far, it's only just begun.
The Russell 2000 is currently trading at 1,626. Based on the bullish chart pattern breakout (bullish ascending triangle), the next upside price target is 1,790, which is an additional 10% gain from where we are today. And I'm expecting the move from here to be much quicker.
With such a big gain in the index, you can be sure there will be plenty of 20%, 50% and even 100% gains in individual stocks. So buckle up.
As I've said before, this is history in the making, so be sure you're taking full advantage of it.
