2 ETFs to Watch for Outsized Volume on S&P 500 Growth and Total Market ETFs

In the last trading session, Wall Street offered a downbeat performance. Among the top ETFs, (SPY - Free Report) lost 1.18%, (DIA - Free Report) lost 0.8% and (QQQ - Free Report) moved about 2% lower on the day.

Two more specialized ETFs are worth noting as both saw trading volume that was far outside of normal. In fact, both these funds experienced volume levels that were more than double their average for the most-recent trading session. This could make these ETFs the ones to watch out for in the days ahead to see if this trend of extra-interest continues.

This S&P 500 growth ETF was in the spotlight as around 7.85 billion shares moved hands compared with an average of 2.78 million shares a day. We also saw some price movement as SPYG lost 2% in the last session. SPYG remained flat over the past month.

(ITOT - Free Report) : Volume 2.96 Times Average

This total U.S. market ETF was under the microscope as nearly 10.22 million shares moved hands. This compares with an average trading volume of roughly 3.45 million shares and came as IHY lost 1.3% in the last trading session. ITOT was up 0.3%.
