Amazon (AMZN) Outpaces Stock Market Gains: What You Should Know

Amazon (AMZN - Free Report) closed at $129.18 in the latest trading session, marking a +1.45% move from the prior day. This change outpaced the S&P 500's 1.15% gain on the day. Meanwhile, the Dow gained 0.63%, and the Nasdaq, a tech-heavy index, added 7.23%.
