Today’s short video takes a quick look at Bank of America (BAC - Free Report) ahead of its earnings report. This company is looking to continue the solid banking trend as of late, but BAC may not be as well-positioned as its competitors in the space.
That is because BAC was a ‘sell’ just a week ago and it just barely made it into ‘hold’ territory within the past week, while it has a VGM Score of ‘D’. Additionally, the stock has a somewhat mixed history in earnings season, including two misses in the last six reports.
Earnings estimate revisions are also uninspiring for this company, as we can see in the chart below, so we will definitely need to see some help on the rate front to boost analyst expectations going forward.
