Activision Blizzard (ATVI - Free Report) just released its third-quarter earnings results, posting earnings of $0.46 per share and revenue of $1.568 billion.

While that figure did fall short of our estimate of $1.575 billion, this seems to be a result of the new SEC reporting practices that the video game industry is following. Including the $62 million impacted by GAAP deferrals, the company’s revenue would come in at $1.630 billion.
Activision Blizzard had 482 million Monthly Active Users in the quarter.
GAAP net revenues from digital channels were an all-time quarterly record of $1.34 billion, growing 18% quarter-over-quarter and 114% year-over-year.
The company expects non-GAAP earnings per share of $0.40 and non-GAAP revenues of $1.856 billion in Q4.
