Thursday’s closing bell brings earnings releases from the likes of Alphabet Inc. (GOOGL - Free Report) , Microsoft (MSFT - Free Report) , and Intel Corporation (INTC - Free Report) , which might paint a better picture of how this earnings season will pan out.
On Thursday, shares of popular cruise liner Royal Caribbean Cruises (RCL - Free Report) are gleefully sailing away, up around 9.2% in afternoon trading on refreshing fourth quarter financial results. RCL stock even hit a new 52-week high of $95.86.
Las Vegas Sands Corp. (LVS - Free Report) released its fourth quarter fiscal 2016 earnings results, posting earnings of $0.62 per share and revenue of $3.075 billion. The report also showed a disappointing market share in Macau, which sent investors into a selling frenzy.
As per usual, all eyes will be on the company formerly known as Google, Alphabet Inc., as the tech giant prepares to release its fourth-quarter earnings report on Thursday.
