For most investors, how much a stock's price changes over time is important. This factor can impact your investment portfolio as well as help you compare investment results across sectors and industries.

Another factor that can influence investors is FOMO, or the fear of missing out, especially with tech giants and popular consumer-facing stocks.

A $1000 investment made in September 2015 would be worth $10,693.10, or a 969.31% gain, as of September 29, 2025, according to our calculations. Investors should note that this return excludes dividends but includes price increases.

The S&P 500 rose 243.99% and the price of gold increased 221.12% over the same time frame in comparison.

Going forward, analysts are expecting more upside for HUBS.

HubSpot has been incurring operating losses since its inception. Despite the increasing top line, mounting losses don't augur well for investor confidence. International presence exposes the company to forex volatility. Premium valuation is concerning. However, HubSpot is benefiting from growing user engagement across all segments. Pricing optimization and the transition to a seat pricing model are driving customer growth. The seat pricing model lowers the barrier for customers to get started with HubSpot and mitigates pricing friction for upgrades. The company's strong liquidity position will enable it to make investments in product development and acquisitions in the future. HubSpot's AI, which includes cutting-edge features such as AI assistance, AI agents, AI insights and ChatSpot, is driving more value to customers.

The stock is up 7.16% over the past four weeks, and no earnings estimate has gone lower in the past two months, compared to 12 higher, for fiscal 2025. The consensus estimate has moved up as well.
