DFA Real Estate Securities I Fund (DFREX - Free Report) seeks to achieve long-term capital appreciation. DFREX consists of shares of equity and hybrid Real Estate Investment Trusts (to the extent that at least 75% of the REITs assets are equity investments). DFREX concentrates investments in readily marketable equity securities of companies whose principal activities include development, ownership, construction, management, or sale of residential, commercial or industrial real estate. DFREX does not currently purchase shares of healthcare REITs. DFREX is well diversified with respect to both geography and property type.
