  • The partnership targets AI agents and autonomous shopping tools influencing how consumers select insurance.
  • EverQuote's minority investment in Waniwani supports joint solutions and new AI-based revenue streams.

EverQuote, Inc. (EVER - Free Report) entered into an exclusive commercial partnership with Waniwani. The collaboration aims to integrate Waniwani's technology into EverQuote's portfolio to help property and casualty (P&C) insurance carriers manage brand visibility, discoverability and regulatory compliance as consumers increasingly use AI agents for financial decisions.

Waniwani is a technology company that provides revenue and compliance infrastructure for the agentic distribution of financial services. Waniwani remains focused on the emerging environment in which AI agents increasingly act as intermediaries between consumers and financial service providers. Its infrastructure is designed to help financial service providers.

EverQuote plans to integrate Waniwani’s technology into its existing portfolio of AI solutions for large P&C insurers and thousands of licensed agents. This broadens EverQuote’s product offering and helps it address the emerging agentic AI distribution channel.
As AI agents increasingly influence how consumers find and select financial products, Waniwani’s technology can help EverQuote’s insurance customers ensure their brands and offerings are effectively surfaced by AI agents, assistants and autonomous shopping tools. This could make EverQuote more valuable to carriers seeking to maintain visibility as consumer behavior shifts toward AI.

The partnership is designed not only to help insurers get discovered, but also to optimize engagement throughout the funnel and improve the ability to convert AI-driven interactions into customers. This aligns closely with EverQuote’s core business of helping P&C insurers maximize customer acquisition.

The deal should help EverQuote capitalize on the emerging shift toward AI-driven insurance discovery and distribution. By integrating Waniwani’s discoverability, revenue optimization and compliance capabilities, EverQuote can expand its AI solutions, improve customer acquisition for P&C insurers and potentially develop new revenue streams as AI agents become more influential in insurance purchasing.
EverQuote also made a strategic minority equity investment in Waniwani. This deepens the relationship and supports joint development of solutions designed to optimize how insurers’ content, offerings and brands are surfaced by AI agents and autonomous shopping/research tools.

The integration can help EverQuote generate additional revenues by expanding its P&C insurance growth solutions into agentic AI channels, enabling insurers to improve AI-driven discoverability, engagement and customer conversion. This could increase monetizable insurance-shopping activity while also allowing EverQuote to develop and sell new AI-based services to carriers and agents.
