GLOBALFOUNDRIES Inc. (GFS - Free Report) is expanding its manufacturing capabilities through a new multi-year agreement with Marvell Technology, Inc. (MRVL - Free Report) to increase production capacity for its silicon germanium (SiGe) technology. With more than a decade of experience in advanced SiGe manufacturing, GlobalFoundries is combining the technology with silicon photonics and modern packaging to develop new optical architectures for increasingly demanding AI and cloud networks.
