Read MoreHide Full Article

Key Takeaways

  • FWRD Q2 net sales rose 11% year over year to $44.9M as luxury demand improved.
  • Handbag demand and FWRD Renew products helped drive Revolve Group's luxury growth.
  • FWRD Summer Club capsule sales rose nearly 50%, supported by exclusive styles.

Revolve Group, Inc. (RVLV - Free Report) is benefiting from improving trends in its FWRD luxury business, supported by stronger handbag demand, customer acquisition and a differentiated luxury assortment. The segment continues to broaden its appeal through pre-owned luxury offerings and exclusive merchandise, helping the company capture demand despite an uneven global luxury market backdrop.

FWRD generated second-quarter 2026 net sales of $44.9 million, up 11% year over year from $40.6 million. Management noted that the segment’s growth was roughly four times the estimated growth rate of the global personal luxury goods market in 2026, according to Bain Altagamma research. FWRD also contributed significantly to Revolve Group’s strong customer acquisition during the quarter.

The recent rebound in handbag sales was a notable growth driver, including demand for FWRD Renew products sold online and showcased at retail locations. Product exclusivity is another key advantage. The second annual FWRD Summer Club capsule featured exclusive styles from brands such as Missoni, The Attico and Cult Gaia, with capsule sales rising nearly 50% year over year.

Revolve Group is also expanding FWRD’s luxury assortment through new brand relationships. The addition of Christian Louboutin, a label with limited wholesale distribution, further strengthens the platform’s premium positioning and could help broaden its appeal among luxury shoppers.

Still, the luxury market remains competitive, with retailer bankruptcies and an uncertain consumer environment shaping industry conditions. However, companywide sales momentum remained strong, with July net sales rising approximately 18% year over year. Management also reiterated its goal of achieving double-digit revenue growth for full-year 2026, providing a supportive backdrop for continued FWRD expansion.
