Read MoreHide Full Article

Key Takeaways

  • Intuit's Accountant Suite had more than 150,000 accountants on the platform in fiscal 2026.
  • Accountant-driven IES deals rose fivefold from the first to fourth quarter of fiscal 2026.
  • Monetization remains key as Intuit seeks paying users, cross-selling and stronger revenue growth.

Intuit (INTU - Free Report) is expanding its reach among accounting professionals with Accountant Suite, an AI-powered platform designed to help firms manage clients, teams and workflows through a unified system. The platform combines practice management, portfolio-wide insights, bookkeeping and tax workflows while using AI to automate repetitive tasks.

Adoption is showing early promise. More than 150,000 accountants were on the platform in fiscal 2026, while users reported spending about 30% more time on advisory work. Intuit also said 85% of users reported streamlined operations through a single platform.

The bigger opportunity could come from Accountant Suite's ability to strengthen Intuit's broader ecosystem. Accountants influence technology decisions for businesses, and Intuit estimates that more than 65% of QuickBooks Online users work with accountants. The company also reported a fivefold increase in accountant-driven new Intuit Enterprise Suite (IES) deals between the first and fourth quarters of fiscal 2026, with accountants accounting for 25% of new IES deals during the year.

Intuit's broader business provides a supportive backdrop. Fiscal 2026 revenues rose 14% to $21.45 billion, while Online Ecosystem revenues increased 19% to $9.9 billion. Still, investors will need to monitor whether Accountant Suite adoption translates into paying users, higher cross-selling, additional mid-market customers and stronger revenue growth.

Accountant Suite could become an important growth channel for Intuit by connecting accounting firms more closely with its business ecosystem. Yet monetization remains an important factor to watch as adoption expands.
