All growth rates mentioned below are on a year-on-year basis and at CER.

SNY's Dupixent Sales Maintain Strong Momentum

In Immunology, blockbuster drug Dupixent sales climbed 34.8% to €5.69 billion. Growth reflected strong demand across approved indications and increased use of advanced treatments. U.S. sales jumped 40.2% to €4.38 billion, aided by favorable gross-to-net price adjustments. Sales advanced 16.1% in Europe to €588 million and 22.6% in the Rest of the World to €723 million, supported by Japan, Canada, Brazil and China.

Sanofi markets Dupixent in partnership with Regeneron (REGN - Free Report) . While sales are recorded by Sanofi, Regeneron records its share of profits/losses in connection with global sales of Dupixent.

Sanofi's Rare Disease Portfolio Shows Strength

Among rare disease medicines, Altuviiio sales increased 37.8% to €408 million, supported by patients switching from older factor therapies. The United States accounted for approximately 85% of quarterly sales.

Ayvakit sales climbed 46% to €203 million, reflecting continued growth in patient numbers and treatment duration. The drug was added through the Blueprint Medicines acquisition.

Nexviazyme/Nexviadyme sales rose 4% to €211 million, while Myozyme/Lumizyme revenues declined 15.6% to €105 million as patients switched to the newer treatment. The combined Pompe disease franchise generated €316 million, down 3.4%.

Fabrazyme sales increased 6.2% to €260 million. Alprolix rose 13.4% to €172 million, while Cablivi and Xenpozyme advanced 6.1% and 8.8%, respectively. Newer drugs Wayrilz and Qfitlia contributed €19 million and €8 million, respectively, compared with €17 million and €7 million in the previous quarters.

SNY's Established Medicines Deliver Mixed Results

Among other major medicines, Lantus sales rose 18.5% to €530 million, driven by favorable U.S. pricing adjustments, market-share gains and temporary demand resulting from competitor supply disruptions.

Toujeo sales jumped 31.2% to €430 million, supported by U.S. market-share gains and favorable pricing adjustments. Rezurock advanced 43% to €165 million, while Praluent increased 20.5% to €156 million.

Oncology drug Sarclisa generated €196 million, up 25.8%, benefiting from increased use in earlier treatment lines and the ongoing launch of its subcutaneous formulation.

However, legacy medicines remained under pressure. Plavix sales declined 10.8% to €206 million, while Lovenox dropped 12.8% to €174 million amid continued biosimilar competition.

SNY's Vaccine Sales Decline Again in Q3

Vaccine sales decreased 6.6% to €3.19 billion, primarily due to the timing of seasonal influenza vaccine deliveries and lower U.S. Beyfortus sales.

Influenza and COVID-19 vaccine revenues fell 18.8% to €1.26 billion.

Revenues of Sanofi and partner AstraZeneca’s (AZN - Free Report) respiratory syncytial virus or RSV antibody, Beyfortus, declined 15.4% to €631 million, reflecting a lower U.S. order from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

Meanwhile, polio, pertussis and Hib vaccines, including Heplisav-B, recorded 24.9% sales growth to €823 million, benefiting from the newly acquired vaccine. Meningitis, travel and endemic vaccine sales increased 4.2% to €476 million.

Sanofi Raises Its 2026 Outlook

Sanofi now expects sales to grow by a low-teens percentage at CER, compared with its previous projection of approximately 10% growth at CER.

Business earnings per share are now expected to increase by a mid-teens percentage, which was previously expected to increase slightly faster than sales at CER.

Shares of Sanofi were up more than 3% in pre-market trading on Friday owing to the better-than-expected earnings results as well as the raised 2026 outlook.

Year to date, shares of Sanofi have declined 7.4% against the industry’s increase of 20.3%.

Our Take on SNY’s Q3 Results

Sanofi delivered a strong quarter, beating earnings and revenue estimates as Dupixent crossed the €5-billion quarterly sales mark for the second time in a row.

Dupixent remained the key growth driver while strong demand for Altuviiio, Ayvakit and Rezurock also supported top-line growth. However, vaccine sales declined again in the quarter.

Sanofi also raised its earnings and sales growth expectations for the year based on a strong performance in the first nine months of 2026. Its recently expanded collaboration with Regeneron also strengthens its longer-term immunology pipeline.
