CEO Ford Tamer emphasized growing FPGA adoption, stronger customer commitments and an expanding product portfolio. Management outlined ambitious growth expectations through 2027, supported by substantial backlog visibility and rising semiconductor content across data center applications.

Lattice reported adjusted earnings of 72 cents per share, surpassing the Zacks Consensus Estimate of 56 cents by 28.57%. Revenues reached $291 million, exceeding the consensus estimate of $256.4 million by 13.49%. Sales increased 118.3% year over year and 44.7% sequentially.

Lattice Semiconductor Corporation Price, Consensus and EPS Surprise

Lattice Sees AI Infrastructure Driving FPGA Growth

Tamer said FPGA revenues reached $252 million, increasing approximately 90% year over year. Compute and Communications revenues surged 132%, reflecting growing demand from AI servers and data center infrastructure.

Management highlighted increasing FPGA adoption per server as customers deploy more complex architectures requiring connectivity, security and control capabilities. Tamer said FPGA attachment rates are approaching four devices per server.

During the Q&A, a Stifel analyst questioned server demand assumptions. Tamer projected server shipments increasing from approximately 20 million units in 2026 to 25 million in 2027, alongside rising AI server penetration.

LSCC Expects Industrial Recovery to Accelerate

Industrial and Embedded revenues increased 35% year over year and 7% sequentially. Tamer attributed the recovery to normalized channel inventories and strengthening demand across factory automation, robotics, medical equipment and aerospace applications.

Management expects approximately 70% year-over-year revenue growth in this business during the fourth quarter. New design wins and expanding customer applications underpin expectations for continued growth into 2027.

Addressing inventory concerns raised by Deutsche Bank, Tamer said customer verification efforts revealed no signs of double ordering. Management intends to maintain disciplined channel inventories while increasing internal inventory to support demand.

Lattice Expands Opportunities Through AMI Integration

The July acquisition of AMI contributed approximately $39 million in third-quarter revenues. Tamer said the acquired business exceeded initial expectations, benefiting from favorable product mix and stronger profitability.

Management highlighted four integrated solutions covering security retrofits, rack boot, plug-and-play deployment, and power and cooling management. These offerings combine FPGA hardware with firmware capabilities.

Responding to William Blair, Tamer identified security retrofits as the strongest early opportunity. Initial production is beginning in the fourth quarter, with broader adoption expected during 2027 and meaningful revenue contributions anticipated in 2028.

LSCC Raises Growth Expectations for 2027

Management expects fourth-quarter revenues between $325 million and $345 million, with adjusted earnings of 82-86 cents per share. Non-GAAP gross margin guidance stands at 72%, plus or minus one percentage point.

Tamer projected revenue growth of at least 60% in 2027 and a compound annual growth rate exceeding 30% over the following five years. Backlog visibility extends into 2028.

During questioning from Stifel and Susquehanna, management clarified that its outlook incorporates more conservative second-half growth assumptions. Executives emphasized sustained customer commitments rather than relying on stronger pricing to achieve targets.

Lattice Prioritizes Operating Leverage and Debt Reduction

CFO Lorenzo Flores highlighted a non-GAAP operating margin of 41.1%, reflecting 280 basis points of sequential expansion. Adjusted EBITDA margin reached 45%, supported by higher volumes and operating leverage.

Free cash flow totaled $77.6 million. Flores said Lattice repaid $50 million of debt and expects net leverage below twice EBITDA by year-end 2026.

Management emphasized continued investment in research and development alongside accelerated debt reduction. Near-term acquisition priorities remain focused on completing AMI integration rather than pursuing additional transactions.

LSCC Maintains Focus on Sustained Expansion

Management's overarching message centered on translating higher FPGA adoption and broader firmware capabilities into sustained earnings growth. Tamer emphasized new products, increasing unit demand and deeper customer relationships.

Flores reiterated expectations for earnings growth to outpace revenues while maintaining financial flexibility. Supply agreements and backlog visibility remain important foundations of management's longer-term outlook.
