Stocks were rebounding from Wednesday’s brutal selling today as a plethora of fresh earnings reports from some of Wall Street’s trendiest companies largely impressed. Notably, Microsoft (MSFT - Free Report) and Tesla (TSLA - Free Report) reported after the bell yesterday and were both able to top estimates.

Suspicions that Tesla moved its report date up in order to push out good news were confirmed by the electric car company’s massive surprise profit, and shares were surging today as a result. Meanwhile, Microsoft notched continued growth in its Azure cloud division and easily surpassed earnings and revenue projections.

Reporting before the bell today was Twitter and Comcast (CMCSA - Free Report) . Twitter shares were up more than 15% in early morning trading following its report, which saw the social media firm crush EPS estimates by over 50%. Comcast also beat estimates—although to a smaller degree—and recorded strong profit growth in its most recent quarter.

The attention will now turn to Amazon (AMZN - Free Report) , as the e-commerce king is set to report after the bell today. Consensus estimates have Jeff Bezos’ company posting earnings growth of 533% and revenue growth of 30%, although it is possible Wall Street cares more about performances in specific segments like AWS and Prime.

So what are analysts expecting from the cloud computing division this quarter? How big has the Prime network grown to? Make sure to check out today’s episode for Ryan’s answers to these questions, and more!
