Under Armour (UAA) Q3 Earnings & Sales Fall Y/Y, Stock Down

Under Armour, Inc. (UAA - Free Report) , a leading designer, marketer, and distributor of athletic footwear, apparel, and accessories, released third-quarter 2017 results, wherein it posted earnings of 22 cents a share that plunged 24.1% year over year.

The company now expects its full year adjusted earnings in the band of 18-20 cents a share down from 37-40 cents projected earlier. The Zacks Consensus Estimate for 2017 is currently pegged higher at 37 cents.

Revenues: Under Armour generated net revenue of $1,405.6 million that decreased 4.5% year over year. On a currency-neutral basis, net revenue declined 4.9%. For 2017, the company anticipates net revenue to be up at a low single-digit percentage rate.
